“I the Lord do not change .” (Malachi 3:6) The idea of praying to change God’s will is presumptuous. It suggests that we know better than God . Jesus set the example in Gethsemane when He prayed for God’s will to be done, not His own.

Some people ask why God doesn’t answer, or doesn’t always answer, their prayers . But the fact is, God does answer prayer . In fact, God answers every prayer . If you think about it, though, you can understand why he doesn’t answer every prayer with a “Yes,” immediately.
With prayers , God uses someone to change another or something. God has established things so that prayer , on the basis of redemption, change the way a person looks at things. Prayer is not a matter of changing things externally, but one of working miracles in a person’s inner nature.
When we take the time to pray , we acknowledge our dependence upon the Lord and his grace and mercy. We can’t fight our battles without Him. God doesn’t need your prayers because He knows exactly what you need before you even ask, but we need Him in our lives so desperately.

Truth: Only God Can Change the Heart , but the Preparation Comes From Man . God has promised us that if we come to Him with a faith that works through love, and repent of all sin, He will be faithful to take out our heart of stone and replace it with a heart of flesh. He will write His laws upon our minds and hearts .
If God only answers prayers that are in alignment with his will, it would be wise to pray his will. If you want to know the will of God , it always starts with knowing the word of God . In short, when you pray biblical prayers , you are praying prayers that God will answer .
Matthew 12:30-32: “Whoever is not with me is against me, and whoever does not gather with me scatters. And so I tell you, any sin and blasphemy can be forgiven . And everyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven , but anyone who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven .”
