Big bones , along with all other types of bones can be used on the altars , granting 4 times the normal experience. This may be especially worthwhile with big bones and dragon bones . To free up your inventory space, you can place bones on the table in the Smuggler’s room without fear of them disappearing.
It only costs about 48 000 000 to get to level 99 , and it will get you about 165 000 XP per hour.
The fastest way to train Prayer is to offer bones of any sort at a gilded altar in a player-owned house. When both incense burners are lit, the altar gives 350% experience per bone when a bone is offered at it.
The Chaos Temple is a structure in level 38 Wilderness, west of the Lava Maze. It contains a chaos altar where players can recharge and train their Prayer. Free players may visit the temple , however only members may take advantage of the altar’s benefits.
If you have completed the aforementioned quests, you will need 51,656 dragon or wyvern bones to get from level 32 Prayer to 99 .
When used in a player-owned house on the gilded altar big bones grant 37.5 experience, with one incense burner lit they will grant 45 experience, and with both incense burners lit they produce 52.5 experience. They also give 60 experience when used on an altar in Daemonheim while Dungeoneering.
Absolutely worth it for me, and my bank was about half of yours. Also, remember that upgrading to T99 prayers is a higher damage increase than upgrading from a T90 to T92 weapon, so if you’re thinking of buying a Staff of Silske or whatever, you should get the prayer first.

Players can use Simon who is just on the other side of the temple walls to bank and restock on bones . Roughly 1,400 bones can be offered an hour without the need of a BoB using this method, this makes it about equal to using a Pack Yak in the player-owned house.
Current GE prices put prayer potions at 6957 per 3 doses or 2319 per dose. So unless you plan on using a lot of prayer potions it’s not really worth getting 99 prayer but if you’re doing something that uses prayer constantly like Dk’s it’ll pay for it’s self eventually.
Access. As with most other runecrafting altars , it can be accessed via the Abyss. Players could also enter its ruins by using a chaos talisman or simply click on the ruins while wearing a chaos tiara. The wilderness entrance to the altar through the ruins can be bypassed if the player has completed What Lies Below.
Most teleports will not work above Wilderness level 20, but there are some exceptions. However, the Teleport Block spell will prevent using any means of teleportation for 5 minutes. Carrying any quantity of cursed energy will teleblock the player permanently until they remove them.
To recharge Prayer points, a player must pray at an altar or drink a potion that restores Prayer points. If a holy wrench is in the player’s inventory or pocket slot, or if a Reverence aura is activated while drinking a Prayer -restoring potion, additional Prayer points will be restored.
