Zuhr — The Midday or Afternoon Prayer: 4 Rakat Sunnat + 4 Rakat Fard + 2 Rakat Sunnah followed by 2 Rakat Nafl.
Dhuhr: 4 Rakat Sunnah, then 4 Rakat Fardh, then 2 Rakat Sunnah, then 2 Rakat Nafl. Asr: 4 Rakat Sunnah, then 4 Rakat Fardh. Maghrib: 3 Rakat Fardh, then 2 Rakat Sunnah, then 2 Rakat Nafl. Say , ‘I intend to pray the (four) Rak’at of Salaatul (Dhuhr) for Allah facing the Ka’bah’, replacing the parts in brackets with the correct number of Rak’ats (units of prayer ) and the Salah you are about to perform.

The azan is the commencement of prayers time if you are alone or in a jamath it’s not impossible to say your salat, you should recite the azan then the iqamat and then say your prayers , provided the time has commenced, otherwise your prayers are not valid they would become nafl prayers of the previous time.
Also during isha and fajr the the non Muslim would sleep, so those two prayers were also possible for muslims to read loudly at these times. The reasons are not here anymore, but the rulings are still same.
