“Hallowed be thy name” means God’s name is holy and special. Even though God wants us to call him our Father , he is still God, and He is to be respected and honored. “Thy kingdom come. This part of the prayer says let God’s kingdom come and let God’s will be done on earth, both just like it is in heaven.
After analyzing this verse of the Lord’s prayer , it is clear that we are making a promise to God that we will obey his desires or wishes on Earth. The verse simply says, “your wishes will be completed on Earth, just like they are in Heaven.”

In teaching us to pray “ Thy kingdom come , Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven” Jesus wants us to petition the Father to throw Satan and his angels down from heaven, thus making God’s kingdom come to heaven. Then, Jesus can make His kingdom come to the earth, “as it is in heaven.”
