-At the end of the prayer, the group may say , “Keep coming back. It works if you work it.” -The meeting is now officially over. Attendees may stay and have informal discussions or ask questions of one another before leaving.
Third Step Prayer God , I offer myself to Thee — to build with me and to do with me as Thou wilt. Relieve me of the bondage of self, that I may better do Thy will. Take away my difficulties, that victory over them may bear witness to those I would help of Thy Power, Thy Love, and Thy Way of life.

A.A. is not a religious organization. Alcoholics Anonymous has only one requirement for member- ship, and that is the desire to stop drinking. There is room in A.A. for people of all shades of belief and non- belief .
Think Think Think ( Upside ) It is usually on display in most AA meetings— written upside down to remind us that we have to turn our constant over thinking on its head if we are to recover.
While there is no formal “ A.A. definition ” of alcoholism , most of us agree that, for us, it could be described as a physical compulsion, coupled with a mental obsession. We mean that we had a distinct physical desire to consume alcohol beyond our capacity to control it, and in defiance of all rules of common sense.

In a nutshell, step 11 says to discover the plan God, as you understand him, has for your life and find the power to carry it out. AA states it is non-religious but rather spiritual in design, and as its cornerstone, members should find a higher purpose or higher power.

For women, it’s having more than three drinks a day or seven a week. For men, it’s four or more per day or 14 a week. If you drink more than the daily or weekly limit, you’re at risk. That’s not the only way to tell if you or someone you care about needs help.
It isn’t required of anyone to do so but it keeps with the tradition of AA that when alcoholic calls for help, the helping hand of AA will be there.
