Heavenly Father, we thank You for being Our Protector. We look to You for Your shelter from all hurt, harm and danger. We put our faith in Your Name, for we find our complete protection and safety in You Our Heavenly Father. And so by faith, we run to You for safety.
Lord, please be with everyone waiting to be rescued, keep them safe, and bring help to them soon. God, bless each and every person affected by this storm and surround them with Your love, protection, and angels. Let them know there are millions of us out here praying for them and their loved ones.
I pray they turn to you for direction and forgiveness and see how much they have hurt me . Please give me eyes to see them from your perspective, and a heart to want to forgive. I ask for patience while you work your will and to show me how to be the loving Christian you have called me to be.”
Psalm 91 is a protection Scripture that believers have turned to for thousands of years whenever there is danger. As the Times of Trouble are upon us, the prayer of Psalm 91 is comforting and effective when prayed from the heart by those who love God and are in relationship with Him.
Lord God, I pray for Your protection as I begin this day. You are my hiding place, and under Your wings I can always find refuge. Protect me from trouble wherever I go, and keep evil far from me.
I hope they will encourage you to make 2021 a year of prayer . Know to whom you are speaking. Thank him. Ask for God’s will. Say what you need. Ask for forgiveness. Pray with a friend. Pray the Word. Memorize Scripture.
Do say : You’re not alone – I’m here. I’m grateful that you are alive. It’s understandable that you’re upset. I don’t know what to say . I know things look bleak right now, but things are going to get better. I can’t imagine what you’re going through. My heart goes out to you. You’re capable and competent.
Heavenly Father, I humbly ask that You guard all of my friend’s (insert name) thoughts, actions and words. May Your wisdom and power fill him/her! Please give my friend (insert name) the strength, peace, and wisdom needed during this time of trouble .
Matthew 5:4 “Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.” There is comfort in the Lord for those who are mourning tragedy . Calling upon him in our times of need is not acting on weakness, it is showing that our trust has been put within him and that he is who we seek out in our times of grief.
Dear Lord, I pray that you may grant me the happiness that I truly deserve by letting my love come back to me. Help him/her to realize that I love him/her so much, and I am always here for him/her. Let him/her have a change of heart and come back to me. Dear Lord, you know that I truly cherish this man/woman.
From one end of the Bible to the other, God repeatedly promises to forgive all who come to Him in repentance and faith. The Bible says, “The Lord is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and rich in love” (Psalm 145:8).
Moving away from that someone who repeatedly hurts you makes for a safer space in your life. And forgiving them makes for a stress-free space in your mind. Remember, setting boundaries, that is, marking what behaviors of others you will allow towards yourself, does not mean remaining vindictive to the offender.
Psalm 27 Of David. The LORD is my light and my salvation– whom shall I fear? The LORD is the stronghold of my life– of whom shall I be afraid? When evil men advance against me to devour my flesh, when my enemies and my foes attack me, they will stumble and fall.
In Jewish thought, Psalm 91 conveys the themes of God’s protection and rescue from danger.
Looking over Psalm 91 we see promise after promise of His protection for us, but verse 1 holds the secret to the promises: Dwell in the secret place , which simply means to seek Him; draw near to Him.
