The Intercession of the Spirit is the Christian belief that the Holy Spirit helps and guides believers who search for God in their hearts. In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans.
The seven gifts of the Holy Spirit are wisdom , understanding, counsel, fortitude , knowledge , piety , and fear of the Lord. While some Christans accept these as a definitive list of specific attributes, others understand them merely as examples of the Holy Spirit’s work through the faithful.

Peter, in his Pentecost sermon, gives to us the answer: “Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit .” To be filled and led by the Spirit of God does not require any great spiritual work on our part.

Forms of prayer . The tradition of the Catholic Church highlights four basic elements of Christian prayer : (1) Prayer of Adoration/Blessing, (2) Prayer of Contrition/Repentance, (3) Prayer of Thanksgiving/Gratitude, and ( 4 ) Prayer of Supplication/Petition/Intercession.

Tongues are the Holy Spirit praying , speaking , or singing through you. “For if I pray in a tongue, my spirit prays,” (I Corinthians 14:14-15.) In other words, praying in tongues or praying in the Spirit is your spirit bypassing the limitations of your mind, enabling you to minister beyond your natural understanding.
The Holy Spirit knows us well and is able to give us power, truth, and strength, amongst other great qualities and gifts of the spirit which enable us to live our lives as we ought as committed followers of Christ.

It is the Holy Spirit’s job to produce Christ-like character in you . This process of changing us to be more like Jesus is called sanctification. You can’t reproduce the character of Jesus on your own or by your own strength. Only the Holy Spirit has the power to make the changes God wants to make in our lives.
In the Hebrew Masoretic text the ” Spirit of the Lord” is described with six characteristics (wisdom, understanding, counsel, might, knowledge, fear of the Lord), and then the last characteristic (fear of the Lord) is mentioned a second time.
