The only way to train Prayer is by burying Bones or Big Bones. If you were to just sit there and bury regular bones from level 1 – 99, it would take over 1000 hours and would cost you over 200 000 000. Big bones would take about 300 – 400 hours to bury to level 99.
Burying bones and scattering ashes To bury bones or scatter ashes, simply left-click on the bone or ashes in your inventory. Many players with a high Construction level choose to build a gilded altar with incense burners in their house as this is a much faster way to gain Prayer experience than any other.
The fastest way to train Prayer is to offer bones of any sort at a gilded altar in a player-owned house. When both incense burners are lit, the altar gives 350% experience per bone when a bone is offered at it.

The Chaos Temple is a structure in level 38 Wilderness, west of the Lava Maze. It contains a chaos altar where players can recharge and train their Prayer. Free players may visit the temple , however only members may take advantage of the altar’s benefits.
Big bones , along with all other types of bones can be used on the altars , granting 4 times the normal experience. This may be especially worthwhile with big bones and dragon bones . To free up your inventory space, you can place bones on the table in the Smuggler’s room without fear of them disappearing.
Roughly 1,400 bones can be offered an hour without the need of a BoB using this method. This makes it about equal to using a pack yak in a player-owned house.
This expands rapidly to a total 13,034,431 experience needed for level 99 . Level 85 requires nearly one quarter of the experience needed for level 99 and level 92 is nearly the exact halfway mark, requiring 6,517,253 experience.
Ensouled heads are items that can be dropped by their respective monsters. These heads can be reanimated by using the appropriate spell within the Arceuus spellbook on the head .
Normally, Ensouled Heads are way better than bones for training Prayer in terms of cost. But, with a method that isn’t as risky at the Chaos Alter, you can train your Prayer faster, and cheaper than Ensouled Heads .
How Prayer items work. Each Prayer bonus point slows the loss of prayer points by 3.33%. For example, having +30 in Prayer bonus points would make Prayers last 100% longer (twice as long). Protect from Melee prayer would then drain 1 Prayer point every 6 seconds, instead of every 3 seconds.
The holy wrench is a reward for completing the Rum Deal quest. If players have it in their inventory when they drink a prayer potion, super restore potion, or Sanfew serum, they will regain additional Prayer points, depending on their Prayer level.
