Through prayer, invite Jesus into your heart to become your personal Lord and Savior . “For with the heart (core being) man believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” ( Romans 10:10) “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” ( Romans 10:13)
Asking for Salvation Through Prayer. Confess your sins through prayer to communicate with God . When you commit a sin, sit down and take time to think about what happened. Use the time to pray in whatever manner you prefer, and be honest about what happened and why it happened.
A salvation prayer, known by many Christians as a “Sinners Prayer,” is a prayer one would say to repent from sin, ask God for forgiveness, confess belief in Jesus Christ, and accept him as Lord and Savior. Saying a salvation prayer is the first step in your relationship with God.
Praying for resurrection is different than praying for them to have eternal life. While it is not wrong to pray for someone who is already dead , there is no purpose is asking God to have mercy on them. We don’t decide when people have eternal life or eternal death. Only God judges on the day of judgment.
Please forgive me. Thank You for sending Your Son to die for me, to save me from eternal death. I choose this day to enter into (renew my) covenant with You and to place Jesus at the center of my heart. I surrender to Him as Lord over my whole life.
We call Jesus our Saviour because he sanctifies us. Our “sanctification” or “holiness” means being made holy and clean when we were unholy and unclean in God’s sight. But there is only one thing that can cleanse us: “The blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin” (1John 1:7).
Ask Jesus to come into your life through the prayer of salvation. Simply acknowledging that Jesus is the Son of God and he died for our sins isn’t enough to get you into heaven . You have to make a conscious decision to become a follower of Jesus, praying to God for forgiveness for your sins.
+ Romans 10:9-10 “That if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved . For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved .”
Jesus tells us in Mark 16:16 that “he that believeth and is baptized shall be saved ”. He goes on his way rejoicing because he has been forgiven of his sins.
YES. Anyone person can be saved by the blood of Our Lord Jesus Christ no matter your age, color, poor, rich, murder, thief, jew, muslim, cripple, blind, deaf, dumb, satanist, witch, doctor, lawyer, child molester, adulterer, pope, priest, sick, healthy Anyone person can be saved by the blood of Our Lord Jesus Christ .
The doctrine of “ once saved , always saved ” teaches that it is not possible for a child of God to sin in such a way that he will be lost. This doctrine, however, is not taught in the Bible .
Tips Forgive yourself. Remember there is no limit on forgiveness. Change your environment. Know one thing that because of our sins Jesus was wounded, beaten because of the evil we did. Realize you are the only one who can change yourself (put on the armor of God ). Believe things will change.
I pray they turn to you for direction and forgiveness and see how much they have hurt me. Please give me eyes to see them from your perspective, and a heart to want to forgive. I ask for patience while you work your will and to show me how to be the loving Christian you have called me to be.”
Intercession of the dead for the living Aquinas quotes Revelation 8:4: “And the smoke of the incense of the prayers of the saints ascended up before God from the hand of the angel.” Jesus’ parable of the rich man and Lazarus in Luke 16:19–31 indicates the ability of the dead to pray for the living .
