Saint Peregrine Laziosi (Pellegrino Latiosi) (c. 1260 – 1 May 1345) is an Italian saint of the Servite Order (Friar Order Servants of Mary). He is the patron saint for persons suffering from cancer, AIDS, or other illness.
“Beloved St . Padre Pio, who shared in Christ’s suffering in a special way through the stigmata, you especially loved the sick and infirm. Through your intercession before the throne of God, may we be healed in body and soul, particularly in regards to [mention personal request].”
O God, who gave to St . Peregrine an angel for his companion, the Mother of God for his teacher, and Jesus as the physician for his malady, grant we beseech you through his merits, that we may on earth intensely love our holy Angels, the Blessed Virgin Mary, and our Saviour; and in Him bless them forever.
In addition to being the patron saint of travelers, Saint Christopher is believed to protect people from epilepsy, lightning, storms, pestilence, and floods.
St . Peregrine has been called the “wonder worker” for his intercession on behalf of those living with serious illness. He is the patron saint of all who are afflicted with cancer, leg ailments or any life-threatening illness. He is popularly known as “The Cancer Saint .”
Loving God, I pray that you will comfort me in my suffering, lend skill to the hands of my healers, and bless the means used for my cure. Give me such confidence in the power of your grace, that even when I am afraid, I may put my whole trust in you; through our Savior Jesus Christ. Amen.
God, we thank you that you never leave us, that you never forsake us, but you love us. We trust you, and pray this in your name. Amen.”
THE WORD OF GOD. She is the Peregrine Virgin that blesses your home. Send it to other homes so that she never stops traveling.
