Just as the rain comes and refreshes, cleanses, and makes the ground fruitful, the blessing of His Spirit brings these same qualities into our lives. The picture of rain as a spiritual blessing seems most appropriate. Without rain , my garden plants droop, their growth is stunted, and no fruit/flowers come forth.
He had told King Ahab that there would be heavy rain , and in faith, Elijah could hear the rain coming. But, even with the promise of rain , Elijah prayed . Elijah sent the servant to the king and told him to hitch his chariot and hurry down the mountain before the rain came.
Bless us with great weather , Amen. Heavenly Father, I thank You for the land that we live in, because You have enabled us to possess it. I pray for good weather in this land, I declare that we can drink the water from the rain because it comes from heaven.

Rain Signifies The Harvest It mentions the latter rains and the early rains which are associated with the fullness of harvest. In James 5:7 and the Book of Acts 2:16-17, the Bible refers to the latter rain as a symbolic meaning of the End Time Harvest of souls into God’s Kingdom.
Elijah was a human being like us, and he prayed fervently that it might not rain, and for three years and six months it did not rain on the earth. Then he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain and the earth yielded its harvest.
For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” And when you pray that heartfelt prayer believe you will receive salvation, eternal life is yours, God word is everlasting.
Elijah learned to trust God completely. While he was hiding from Ahab, God miraculously supported him with the help of crows ( 1 Kings 17: 5-6 ). God also supported a very poor widow who helped Elijah , making his flour and oil multiply ( 1 Kings 17: 15-16 ).
