Spoken Prayer Requests . When the facts are not known, assumptions can take place and this can lead to gossip. The requester desires not to share intimate details of the need. Possibly he or she is not comfortable in the group to share such details.
Start your prayer letter by acknowledging God for all of the many blessings He has given you in your life. When you are thanking God in your prayer letter, you should start it off as “Dear Lord, I would like to thank you for ____________” and then write down whatever you would like to thank God for.

A prayer request received is not an invitation to invade privacy. You don’t need details to pray – God knows the situation. Even if the request is made in a public forum, it is not okay to gossip about it.

Your way of expressing it is as good as any. You are simply telling someone that you will pray for them. you could say , “I will pray for you ,” or “ You are on my prayer list.” It all means the same.
