Solomon was the biblical king most famous for his wisdom. Solomon asked for wisdom. Pleased, God personally answered Solomon’s prayer , promising him great wisdom because he did not ask for self-serving rewards like long life or the death of his enemies.
“The blessing of the Lord, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it.”—Prov.
How to Have Wisdom from God According to the Bible Ask for wisdom from God . Ask faithfully. Be a God -fearing person. Be humble. Be prudent. Be peaceful and considerate. Read the Holy Scriptures and know the words of God . Know our Lord better.
Ephesians 3:14-21 And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.
They fail to remember that God gave Solomon wealth for a reason. The reason was because, when God promised Solomon that He would grant any request, Solomon asked for wisdom to rule the people. God was so pleased that Solomon didn’t ask for wealth (among other things) that along with wisdom He also gave him wealth .
all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. The World English Bible translates the passage as: yet I tell you that even Solomon in all. his glory was not dressed like one of these.
According to King Solomon, wisdom is gained from God , “For the Lord gives wisdom ; from His mouth come knowledge and understanding” Proverbs 2:6. There are various verses in Proverbs that contain parallels of what God loves, which is wise , and what God does not love, which is foolish.
And the truth is, God knows what He wants for us is in control of our plans. He has the blueprint for our lives drawn up. Following God’s Plan for Your Life : Be in prayer. Be actively reading in the Word. Follow the commands He puts on your heart. Seek a godly community. Obey the Truth.
A Prayer to Heal Stress Give me the strength and clarity of mind to find my purpose and walk the path you’ve laid out for me. I trust your Love God, and know that you will heal this stress. Just as the sun rises each day against the dark of night. Please bring me clarity with the light of God.
