The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective. He prayed earnestly that it would not rain, and it did not rain on the land for three and a half years. Again he prayed, and the heavens gave rain, and the earth produced its crops.
The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.” James 5:16, NASB: “Therefore, confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another so that you may be healed. A prayer of a righteous person , when it is brought about, can accomplish much.”
Righteous God, I seek You with all my heart; do not let me stray from Your commandments neither through ignorance nor by willful disobedience. I have treasured and stored Your Word in my heart so that I will not sin against You. I declare that I will remain on Your path of righteousness , Amen.

Even if there is no sickness, sin should be confessed .
Righteousness is one of the chief attributes of God as portrayed in the Hebrew Bible . Its chief meaning concerns ethical conduct (for example, Leviticus 19:36; Deuteronomy 25:1; Psalm 1:6; Proverbs 8:20). In the Book of Job the title character is introduced to us as a person who is perfect in righteousness .
To be justified (or declared righteous ) by the Law is to seek to be righteous before God by keeping the Law of Moses. In other words, it is to be righteous by works. And the Bible says that no man can be justified before God by works.
That is prayer that works. That is prayer that has force. That is prayer that is powerful. The word ” availeth ” is the Greek word “ischuo” from the root word “ischus.” God’s Word is its own context for study.

I hope they will encourage you to make 2021 a year of prayer . Know to whom you are speaking. Thank him. Ask for God’s will. Say what you need. Ask for forgiveness. Pray with a friend. Pray the Word. Memorize Scripture.
A human person is not righteous in God’s eyes because of his choice or commitment, his good works or his piety, his emotions or intellect. “Through faith in Christ, therefore, Christ’s righteousness becomes our righteousness and all that he has becomes ours; rather, he himself becomes ours.”

Prayer in the Hebrew Bible is an evolving means of interacting with God, most frequently through a spontaneous, individual, unorganized form of petitioning and/or thanking. In these instances, such as with Isaac, Moses, Samuel, and Job, the act of praying is a method of changing a situation for the better.
Tips Forgive yourself. Remember there is no limit on forgiveness. Change your environment. Know one thing that because of our sins Jesus was wounded, beaten because of the evil we did. Realize you are the only one who can change yourself (put on the armor of God). Believe things will change.
1 Thessalonians 3:12-13 May the Lord make your love increase and overflow for each other and for everyone else . . . May he strengthen your hearts so that you will be blameless and holy in the presence of our God and Father when our Lord Jesus comes with all his holy ones.
For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” And when you pray that heartfelt prayer believe you will receive salvation, eternal life is yours, God word is everlasting.
