Forms of prayer . The tradition of the Catholic Church highlights four basic elements of Christian prayer : (1) Prayer of Adoration/Blessing, (2) Prayer of Contrition/Repentance, (3) Prayer of Thanksgiving/Gratitude, and ( 4 ) Prayer of Supplication/Petition/Intercession.
Participants (N = 430) were recruited online and completed a measure of six prayer types (adoration, confession, thanksgiving, supplication, reception, and obligatory prayer ).
The three prayer levels are mainly kingly, priestly and prophetic.

A spiritual stronghold is a habitual pattern of thought, built into one’s thought life. Satan and his minions want to capture the minds of people: the mind is the citadel of the soul. He who controls the mind controls a very strategic place!
Spiritual warfare is the Christian concept of fighting against the work of preternatural evil forces. It is based on the biblical belief in evil spirits, or demons, that are said to intervene in human affairs in various ways.
As a religious phenomenon, liturgy represents a communal response to and participation in the sacred through activities reflecting praise, thanksgiving, remembrance, supplication or repentance. It forms a basis for establishing a relationship with a divine agency, as well as with other participants in the liturgy .
United prayer and fasting has always been used by God to deal a decisive blow to the enemy! Often in the Bible, God’s people fasted immediately before a major victory, miracle, or answer to prayer . It prepared them for a blessing! Moses fasted before he received the Ten Commandments.
Take time to remember how much God loves you and those you are praying for. Remember all the ways God has been faithful in the past. Pray the Word. Be comfortable not knowing what to pray. Invite others to pray with you. Find peace in surrendering to God’s will. Worship God .
A prayer meeting is a group of lay people getting together for the purpose of prayer as a group . Prayer meetings are typically conducted outside regular services by one or more members of the clergy or other forms of religious leadership, but they may also be initiated by decision of non-leadership members as well.
