The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “The time of ‘ Isha ‘ is until midnight” (narrated by Muslim, al-Masaajid wa Mawaadi’ al-Salaah, 964).
You cannot pray any namaaz before its time, if its time for isha then you can pray .
The muslims began reading silently at Dhuhr and Asr . Because the non believers were ready to torture at that time, so their being silent would not disturb them. Also during isha and fajr the the non Muslim would sleep, so those two prayers were also possible for muslims to read loudly at these times.
From that, people understand that it is a good thing to delay the isha prayer . You can delay it to the first third of the night or the middle of the night. The “night” is defined as the time between the isha athan and the fajr athan (not 12 AM), so if isha is at 9 and fajr at 5, that makes 1 AM the middle of the night.
Muhammad (pbuh) encouraged his companions not to be involved in any activity after Isha prayer (darkness prayer , which is around 1.5-2 hours after sunset). The Prophet (pbuh) said, “ One should not sleep before the night prayer , nor have discussions after it” [SB 574].
There is thus a long period of time within which this prayer can be offered, but people usually make their prayer within two hours after the Azan has been announced from Mosque.
The least it takes each time is 15 minutes including abulution (washing hands, face, nose, arms, legs etc)But that is just doing with your duty of farz (compulsory) namaz . Again depends whether u praying alone or in congregation in masjid.
According to Sunni Muslims, the period for Maghrib prayer starts just after sunset, following Asr prayer , and ends at the beginning of night, the start of the Isha prayer . As for Shia Muslims, since they allow Maghrib and Isha prayers to be performed one after another, the period for Maghrib prayer extends until dawn.
You can always recite at an audible level except when it’s required to recite loudly like during Fajr, and first 2 rakats of Maghrib and Isha. There are two views on this the stricter and unpopular one is that if you don’t hear yourself while reciting, your prayer is invalid.
between 12 :00 midnight to 12 :30 am no prayer . 1:00 am to Imsaak you can pray Eesha as Kadha and Salat al Layl. Between Imsaak and Fajr (30 mins)no prayer .
Tahajjud can be prayed any time after Isha until before Fajr.
The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said, “A person neglecting his Salat (even though he makes it up later) shall remain in Jahannam for a period of one huqb.
The time period within which the Fajr daily prayer must be offered (with loud recitation of the quran) is from the beginning of dawn to sunrise.
It is permissible per say to offer a prayer at the end of its time, but if delaying the prayer means that one will miss out on praying in congregation and will pray it alone at the end of its time, then it is haraam because it means not praying in congregation, so long as one does not have an excuse for not praying in
