The five daily prayers include: Fajr (sunrise prayer ), Dhuhr (noon prayer ), Asr (afternoon prayer ), Maghrib (sunset prayer ), and Isha (night prayer ).
It depends on where you are. The first of the five calls to prayer happens just before sunrise (usually around 5am) and the last between sunset and midnight (usually after 9pm).

The night prayers (تهجد) are prayed after ‘Isha and after midnight to one hour before the athan of Fajr. One must actually have to wake up from sleeping. In brief, Isha time ends when the time of Fajr starts. In Islam , ” midnight ” has no relevance just as “midday” has no relevance.

Tahajjud prayer is known as the Night Prayer that is offered after you have slept for some part of the night. But that does not mean you can ‘t offer Night Prayers without having slept . Ofcourse you can pray and you will have your rewards but that will be called as Qiyam al layl, not tahajjud .
Arrange to wake up after midnight. Though the Tahajjud can be prayed at any part of the night, if possible, it is best to pray it after midnight, especially during the last third of the night. The time two-thirds of the way between Isha and Fajr is a good time for Tahajjud .
